The Clarvyn teacher app is the part of the school system a teacher carries. It shows each teacher their own classes, and what they mark reaches the same record the office reads.

The register

The register takes as long as calling the names.

Each child is a tap, present or absent. A mark is saved on the phone at once and sent to the school when the phone is online, and the Sync tab shows anything still waiting, with the reason when something could not go.

What the teacher marks, the office already has.

Marks land in the console's class register, where the office can add late or excused and mark an earlier day. Every change made from the app is in the school's activity log, with who made it.

Inside the app

What is in the teacher app.

It runs on Android and is not in Google Play yet. A teacher sees only the classes their roles allow, and signing out clears what the app kept, for a handset passed between staff.

The teacher app

Today: Your lessons today, the register still to be taken, and a tap to mark yourself in.
Classes: Every class you teach, or are class teacher of. The office sets which.
The register: Each child a tap, Present or Absent. A mark waits on the phone until it has reached the school.
Class work and marks: Set a piece of work, then mark it on a sheet, child by child, out of its maximum.
Students: The roll, searched by name or admission number.
Timetable: Your own week, lesson by lesson.
Calendar: Term dates, and the days the school is closed.
Kitchen: This week's menu, as the office has set it.
Notices: What the school has posted, as the parents see it.
My attendance: Your own register: present, late, absent or excused, and marking yourself in.
Profile: Your record as the school holds it. Payslips stay on the console, not on a shared handset.
Sync: What has reached the school and what is still on the phone, with the reason when something could not.
Help: The guides and what's new, inside the app.
