Working draft. This page says how Clarvyn intends to operate. It has not been reviewed by a Ghana-qualified lawyer, and the wording will change when it is. We publish it now because a school deciding whether to trust us with children’s records should be able to read what we claim to do. Tell us where it is wrong: support@clarvyn.ai.
Where this applies
To the parent forum, to messages sent through Clarvyn, and to anything uploaded to a school’s account.
Do not
- Post anything identifying someone else’s child, including which school a named child attends.
- Upload a photograph of a child you do not have the right to share.
- Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or post content that incites harm.
- Impersonate a school, a member of staff, or another parent.
- Post someone’s phone number, address or financial details.
- Advertise, recruit or spam.
- Try to reach another school’s data, or test our systems without telling us first.
The forum is public
Every thread is readable on this website by anyone, under the name its author posts by. Treat it as a public place. See the forum terms.
What happens when a rule is broken
We remove the content. Repeatedly, or for anything involving a child’s safety, we close the account and tell the school. Where we are obliged to report something to the authorities, we do.
Reporting something
Write to support@clarvyn.ai with a link to the post. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first, then us.
